Zeb was nine and playing on a quarter size fiddle
when we recorded 'The Boy from Ireland' in 1989. He was
studying classical music at the time.
At home during his daily practice, I'd sit in and
accompany him on mandolin, showing him
tunes from the deep well of Irish music which, at that time,
he used love to play.
Round about then, a friend suggested going
into Blue Wave, laying down some music, and sending
it on to him. Naturally, I asked Zeb if he'd join me.
Thus was born 'The Boy from Ireland'.
Thanks to E.J.Gold, Marvette Kort, Oz Fritz and all at Cloister Recordings, for their help in making this album possible.

We are the music makers
and we are the dreamers of dreams...
Yet we are the movers and shakers
of the world forever, it seems.
